Quotes To Live By
Quote #64: Louis Alloro
"Hi, I'm Louis Alloro of The Wellbeing Lab and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that energizes me is "Movement proceeds motivation." I first heard this quote from a dear friend and colleague Eleanor Chin, who is also a master level executive coach. The reason I find this quote so energizing is that it encapsulates a powerful truth about human behavior and psychology. It challenges the common belief that motivation must come first before taking action. By focusing on movement as the catalyst for motivation, it helps break the cycle of procrastination and empowers us to initiate tasks or goals, regardless of our current motivational state. In other words, take some action, even in the absence of immediate motivation and see what follows: likely motivation! So, will you try it? Just get started. You don't have to get it all right to get it going. This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. Be well, friends, Louis"
