Life Hack #16: Positive Energizers

Have you ever heard the phase “a rising tide lifts all boats?” While this phrase can be applied in many different situations, research strongly supports the importance of surrounding ourselves with positive energizers.

In organizations with positive energizers, engagement, satisfaction, and productivity tend to increase for all. Interestingly, the benefits aren’t just for the team and organization, positive energizers themselves have stronger mental and physical health.

How do you know if someone is a positive energizer? One quick way to tell is to ask this simple question: is my interaction with this person uplifting and life-giving or depleting and exhausting?

People with positive energy exert qualities like kindness, empathy, generosity, gratitude, integrity, and encouragement. So how do you use your energy? Can you focus on being a positive energizer for others in your life? Can you surround yourself with more positive energizers?
