Quotes To Live By

Quote #106: Jennie Coston

Hi, I'm Jennie Coston, Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition Project Assistant, a mom of three, and a Special Education Supervisor with the Midland County Educational Service Agency. A quote that is meaningful to me is "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.", by Chuang Tzu.

The reason I find this quote so meaningful is that the Monarch butterfly is a family symbol that reminds many of us of my Great Grandpa Frank, who said he would come back as a Monarch butterfly, for me when one flutters by it is a loving reminder that my Great Aunt Maddy is looking over me. I wear a Monarch butterfly necklace with this quote engraved on the back as a reminder that I am loved and am destined for great things.

So, what symbol resonates with you and reminds you that you are destined for great things? This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. You've Got This!
