Quotes To Live By

Quote #217: Kallai Plummer

Hi, I’m Kallai Plummer, Director of Events with the Midland Business Alliance and a member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that is meaningful to me is something my Oma said: “You are allowed to make mid-course corrections in life.”

I find this quote meaningful because it reminds me that I don’t have to keep following a path simply because it’s the one I chose before. As a woman and someone who is still learning and growing, I can put pressure on myself to have everything figured out. My Oma’s words give me permission to pause, reassess, and choose a different direction.

This quote supports my wellbeing by helping me release the guilt that can come with changing my mind. I can honor who I’ve been while making room for who I’m becoming.

So, where in your life could you give yourself permission to make a mid-course correction?

This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition’s Quotes to Live By Series. Take care of yourself and give yourself room to grow.
