Life Hack #17: Mindful Moments

How often during the day do you tune into what your body is telling you? If you are like many, not very often! When life is busy, when emotions and thoughts are constantly swirling, mindful movement can be just what we need to reduce stress, feel more settled, and better navigate our emotional signals.

Mindful movement is a powerful way to get benefits of mindfulness, savoring, and emotional regulation all in one!

As a basic start, once a day pay close attention to how you are moving and feeling. Really focus on the movement itself and marvel in the wonders of the human body.

Maybe while walking, exercising, or even just standing up from a chair – zone in on what your body is doing, get curious about how your emotions impact your muscles in different ways.

You can improve control of your body and mind starting in simple ways, all it takes is attention and intention!
