"Hi, I'm Peggy Sczepanski. I'm a member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition and part of its leadership team. I'm also Dow's Global Wellbeing Program Manager. Today, I want to share Life Hack #1, The Learning Loop. I use the Learning Loop in various ways, especially when facilitating team meetings. It serves as a check-in and helps remind us that we're always evolving. For instance, when I'm leading projects or teams, the Learning Loop is a great reminder that it's okay to change course. It's about welcoming change and understanding that we don't have to know all the answers all the time. We just need to make the best decision we can at the moment, assess our progress, and adjust as necessary. This tool is valuable not just for team dynamics but also for my personal wellbeing. It reminds me of the kind of leader I want to be—someone who is always growing and evolving. By using the Learning Loop intentionally in my life, I'm able to lead in a way that aligns with my values and serves as a role model for others. For anyone trying out the Learning Loop for the first time, is to use the Learning Loop graphic as a reminder. As a visual learner, I find it helpful to have the graphic of the Learning Loop as a prompt. So, when I'm preparing an agenda, pull out the Learning Loop graphic as a reminder to pause and check-in. It helps me think about what's working well, where we might be struggling, and what adjustments we need to make. Even after using it for a couple of years, the visual prompt remains a crucial tool for me. So, if you're getting started with the Learning Loop, try using a visual aid. It can be a great way to remind yourself to take a moment, pause, and reflect on the task at hand, whether personal or professional. "
