Life Hack in Action #12: Meditate Daily

"Hi, I'm Nicole Morreale. I'm the Executive Assistant at Midland Area Community Foundation, and I am also a special project assistant and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. I use this Life Hack # 75 Meditate Daily. I have incorporated meditation into various times and forms of meditation. On my way to work l listen to the Daily Jay, which is story-based meditation by Jay Shetty. This is an opportunity for me to learn in a very calming way, with my eyes open of course because I am driving. I also use the Daily Calm and listen to meditation when I get home from work, no matter the type of day I have. This one is probably my favorite because each day the theme is different which I really enjoy. Lastly, I end my day with a nighttime routine which ends with a sleep meditation, which really helps me to relax just before I fall asleep. These 3 meditation times help to support my wellbeing in different yet important ways. The one on the way to work helps me to start my day in a positive way. My meditation after work helps me wind down from the day and my sleep meditation helps me to relax to fall asleep. All of these support me in managing my anxiety. "
