Quotes To Live By

Quote #210: Sarah Weisbarth

Hi, I’m Sarah Weisbarth, a community educator, facilitator, and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that inspires me is, “When you discover your purpose, you’ll stop chasing success and start pursuing significance,” said by John Maxwell.

The reason I find this quote so inspiring is because it captures the heart of how I try to live and lead. Purpose isn’t something I chase — it’s something I align with. When I’m grounded in what God has called me to do, I’m not striving for achievement or recognition. I’m simply walking in the work that’s mine to do, trusting that significance grows naturally from obedience, clarity, and service.

This quote supports my wellbeing because it reminds me to stay centered, intentional, and aligned with God’s plan rather than the world’s pace. It helps me release pressure, return to purpose, and lead from a place of peace rather than performance.

So, what might shift for you if you pursued significance instead of success?

This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition’s Quotes to Live By Series.
