Quotes To Live By

Quote #133: Rose Jones

Hi, I'm Rose Jones, from the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition, and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that helps me stay positive is, "We must believe that the arc of the universe is long, but that it bends toward justice, toward one Divine end towards which creation moves onward and onward, forever," said by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The reason I find this quote so helpful is that I can tend to think negatively about humanity. This quote supports my wellbeing by reminding me that my first inclination toward negativity is how many people can think, but it is not necessarily correct. There is positive progress that has and can still take place.

So, has Dr. King made you rethink your negative thoughts? This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. Thank you, Rose Jones.
