Quotes To Live By

Quote #146: Meghan Dahl

Hi, I'm Meghan Dahl, Behavioral Health Therapist and Supervisor of the adult Partial Hospitalization Program and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program at MyMichigan Health in Midland, and a member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that is meaningful to me is the following: "In order that people may be happy in their work, these three things are needed: They must be fit for it. They must not do too much of it. And they must have a sense of success in it." quoted by John Ruskin.

The reason I find this quote so helpful is that professional strain and burnout are widespread issues, and it can be hard to determine where the challenges lie. This quote supports my wellbeing by helping me to identify what aspect of work is out of balance, so that I can pursue useful change to increase my workplace wellbeing.

So, if you need some work satisfaction recalibration, take a deeper look! This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. Take care!
