Quote #181: Kaitlin Sharpe

Hi, my name is Kaitlin Sharpe, I am a student at Dow High school in leadership. A quote that is meaningful to me is, "Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day," said by Alice Morse Earle.

The reason I find this quote so meaningful is because in my first years at high school, I was very much a "Debbie Downer". Everyday was a bad day, especially in those hard winter marking periods. In recent months, I have really flipped my mindset around to think more positively and optimistic. When I have a hard day, I think about this quote and look for all the good things I am missing.

This quote supports my wellbeing because it has made my days so much brighter and easier. So, are you going to look for the fruit loop in a bowl of cheerios?
