Quotes To Live By

Quote #214: Katie Wrobel

Hi, I'm Katie Wrobel, founder of Rooted Reach Solutions, community member, and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that has guided me for many years is, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has," by Margaret Mead.

The reason I find this quote so meaningful is that it reminds me change has never happened because of a title, a policy, or a single organization. Change happens because people care enough to take action. Whenever the world feels overwhelming, this quote reminds me that meaningful progress begins with ordinary people who choose courage, compassion, and commitment.

This quote supports my wellbeing by helping me stay hopeful and focused. It reminds me that I don't have to solve every problem on my own. I just need to keep showing up, leading with my values, and trusting that collective effort creates lasting change.

So, where in the community or workplace have you seen the power of one thoughtful act in creating something better?

This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series.
