Quotes To Live By

Quote #48: Stephanie Leibfritz

Hi, I'm Stephanie Leibfritz, retired Community Health Manager from MyMichigan Health and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that is inspiring to me comes from a poem found written on the wall in Mother Teresa’s Home for Children in Calcutta; referred to as her Anyway Poem. “Give the best you have and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God, It was never between you and them anyway”. The reason I find this quote so (inspiring) is (that her life work demonstrated persistence to do good despite many challenges… I have a large plaque to the right of my computer desk at home with this poem engraved on it. This quote supports my wellbeing because it serves as a daily reminder to persist in kindness, honesty, creativity, doing good, and being my best). So, can you be your best person anyway; despite others judging your motives, sincerity, and creativity? This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. Thank you for watching/reading/listening.
