Quotes To Live By
Quote #53: Michelle Bahr
"Hi, I'm Michelle Bahr, former Director of Special Education at the Midland County ESA and now happily retired volunteer, as well as a member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that encourages me at this time of the year is: "What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness." This quote is from John Steinbeck. I chose this quote because, quite frankly, winter is not my favorite season, and this quote reminds me to embrace the winter and be grateful for its beauty. The reason I find this quote so pertinent is that winter gives us time to slow down a bit. I enjoy reading with a hot cup of tea, watching a good series on Netflix, and enjoying the beauty of the four seasons that God has given us to enjoy. So, think about what your favorite part of winter is, and embrace and enjoy it! This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Live By Series. Stay warm!"
