Quotes To Live By

Quote #71: Meghan Dahl

Hi, I'm Meghan Dahl, Licensed Master Social Worker, supervisor in Psychiatry and the Partial Hospitalization Program at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland, and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that is inspiring to me is "All too often, what’s important gets pushed aside while we deal with what’s urgent. Make sure that your life reflects your real priorities” quoted by Gretchen Rubin. The reason I find this quote so helpful is that it recalibrates both my daily tasks and ongoing goals. I’m sure we all get caught up in putting out the many fires that can pop up in our work and home lives, and this can only go on so long before we get off track. This quote supports my wellbeing because it reminds me to check in with myself on where I’m spending my time and energy. So, try to check in with yourself—what needs to be recalibrated to what is important? This has been brought to you by the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition's Quotes to Life by Series. Thanks for joining me today!
