Quote #35: Amy Jaster

Hi, I'm Amy Jaster, Full-Time lecturer at Delta College and member of the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition. A quote that inspires, and is meaningful to me is "”No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”, said by Eleanor Roosevelt. The reason I find this quote so valuable is that we own our self esteem. We cannot let others opinions or actions make us feel like less of a person. It’s how we feel about ourself that matters. This quote supports my wellbeing by reminding me that self love is not selfish and you cannot love others if you don’t love yourself.
