Life Hack #25: Organize Your Pantry

Did you know that the amount of clutter, disorganization, and mess in your house may be connected to your mental health? While this correlation doesn’t tell us which comes first, spending time and energy on these household issues – even in small amounts – it can add up to big benefits.

One small to start is with your pantry or food cupboard! In a relatively short amount of time, you can declutter and remove expired products, donate goods you realistically wont eat, organize what is left, and wipe down surfaces along the way.

It is amazing how such a seemingly simple task can help us feel a sense of accomplishment, help to clear our head, and reduce the overwhelm we can feel in life. Once you’ve conquered that task, how about the cupboard under the sink? Maybe the junk drawer is left? You never know what that first small accomplishment might lead to!
