Welcome2Midland | Helps Midland Newcomers Feel At Home

The Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition is pleased to introduce Welcome 2 Midland, a new community initiative designed to help people who are new to Midland and the surrounding area feel welcomed, connected, and supported as they settle into their new home.

Spearheaded by our Outreach Coordinator Gary Billotti, the program offers personalized welcome kits filled with local guides, business discounts, FAQs on civic involvement, a customized list of places and people matching interests, and a fun “Tourist in Your Own Town” challenge. Participants can choose to pick up their starter kit or have it delivered by a trained Community Ambassador volunteer who can help them connect with the community.

Welcome 2 Midland is expanding through partnerships with local realtors, schools, faith organizations, and employers, with plans to be fully operational by early 2026. New residents and volunteers interested in joining as ambassadors can learn more and sign up at maxlovesmidland.com or midlandareawellbeing.org/welcome-2-midland/.
